Greetings on day 2 of the Awe Heck blog! I doubt very many people are reading it yet since I haven't told anyone. Well, I did post it on my Facebook page and I just told my Uncle, other than that, no one. I think I would like to see how good I do at keeping it updated. I would hate to tell everyone I know and then let a year go by before I update it again! Right now one of our new cats is laying on my desk as I type. She keeps getting up and bumping her nose against my chin. That is her sutle way of telling me that she wants attention!
I spent a busy day running around. I first had to get my choleesterol checked. Needless to say, it isn't very good. So I have to start taking Lipitor, watch what I eat (they recommended that I read the South Beach diet book since it was written by a cardiologist), and I need to get more exercise, I mean exercise minus the more. Then I did picked up Camdon's soccer stuff from a sporting store. He needed shin guards, one blue shirt & pair of socks, one yellow shirt & pair of socks, and one pair of soccer shorts. Then after the boys got out of school, we went and bought a pair of soccer cleats. The day was filled with a lot of errand running, too. I also ate lunch with my Mom, who did most of the shopping with me. I love hanging out with my mom. I sure hope my kids want to hang out with me when we all get older!
Cody did push-ups and sit-ups in school today. On the way to school we went over their Bible verses and Cody totally rocked his. I am so proud of him! In Spanish, Cody reviewed colors and greetings.
Camdon climbed to the top of a climbing wall at his school's playground today. He is very excited because this is the first time that he has made it to the top. In P.E., Camdon did sit-ups. In fact, he is demonstrating for me right now, just so I know what he is talking about (he calls them lift-ups). Mrs. Henderson, Camdon's kindergarten teacher, brought ice cream sandwiches because she missed the kids.

Since your doctor says you have to get some kind of exercise, Curves is a great option. They have a new system called CurveSmart that acts kind of like a personal trainer... it flashes yellow when you aren't working hard enough and stays green when you're on target and flashes green when you're working too hard. It's pretty cool. (I didn't want to do any real work today so i thought i'd check out my new "facebook friend"'s blog. lol.)
